This is the fifth winter in this house and the coldest winter. The house was warm even without a fireplace, so it was almost like a decoration, but this winter, I like the warmth of a fire, so I light one occasionally. I used to think that a well-insulated house didn't necessarily need a fireplace, but I'm starting to think that it's nice to have one. :)
