Landing area, aka a place to anchor when you just enter the house. This is where we store shoes, put vehicle keys, and hang lanyards. This place is also the last "stop" before leaving the house. That's why this area is only called a landing, because actually here we are just passing through. This area is a place to look in the mirror and see your final reflection before going outside. The hope is that we always leave with ourselves tidy. This is the Kata House landing area.
