With limited space, it can be challenging to incorporate items for pets that add to a cohesive aesthetic, and that don’t take over a whole room. While cats tend to make themselves at home wherever they please, I like providing mine with special places to hide or lounge that appeal to their nature. A window hammock allows the cats a high perch, and to look at neighbor cats outside. I put a sheepskin rug over this hammock to make it softer. A wool nest provides a safe and warm place to take a nap. I like that it is made out of natural fibers and has a whimsical shape. Of course, the most prime real estate is the bed with a ray of sun shining in the window.
