One of my best thrifted finds is my small couch. Aside from my bed, this couch is my most used piece of furniture. In fact, it was used mostly by a former roommate. He would watch a lot of TV from it and also take naps on it. I think I only paid about $40 for it. I was lucky when I found it because to this day this couch is unlike any that I ever see at thrift stores. I find most couches that I see at thrift stores to be in poorer condition or dated. I like the clean modern lines of this one. And I don’t need a full size couch in this small living room. The second picture shows a portion of it when it was in my former apartment. I am hoping to replace this one before the year is over as it is beginning to show some signs of wear and tear. I will tell you about another piece of furniture that is sitting right beside the couch in the second pic (another favorite thrift find) but in a future post.
