Because of the open space concept at Casaluna, we don't use the living room, so if there are friends or relatives visiting, they just hang out in the TV room. But coincidentally there was this small space that we used as a foyer. Actually, what is a foyer? If you are abroad, where there are 4 seasons, this foyer is usually useful as a room divider which can prevent cold air from outside from directly entering the house, as well as a place to store shoe racks, umbrellas, coats, etc. Well, in Indonesia the foyer has started to replace the function of the living room, while separating the inside and outside of the house. Likewise at Casaluna, we use this foyer for storage, shoes and sports equipment, as a place to get ready when going out. We also put several chairs here so this room can also be used to meet guests. We also installed partitions to reduce exposure from outside but we used glass so that the room still feels spacious. For the frame, we use 40×40mm galvanized hollow iron and use 5mm glass.
