Making storage interesting: in the kitchen I use an open wire shelf on wheels to display my bakeware and to hold some plants. The storage is easy to reach and I don’t forget about dishes that would otherwise be shoved to the back of a cupboard, or on a high shelf. If you have ample natural light in the kitchen, growing some culinary herbs is a nice and practical touch. Here I repurposed tomato sauce cans for growing basil.
