#diy #creative #walldecor #gallerywall **DIY** See those brown stripes on the wall in the first picture? They are not painted on the wall. They are balsa wood slats that come in their natural blond wood color. But I applied a walnut wood stain to them for color. After they dried, I applied them to the wall with a removable adhesive that removes from the wall cleanly. They are very lightweight. The reason for the project was to add stripes to the wall without actually painting the wall of my rental. You can see pictures in this post of the various ways I used those slats in my former apartments and in my current one. The slats that i am currently using in my current place are remainders from the previous uses at the other places. One of the pics shows the objects needed to do what i did. I posted two different adhesives just to show you more than one option. Either one will do. There was one time where i spray painted some of them blue. Then there was a time that i made a wall decoration to put above my bathroom’s mirror.
