Initially, this retro/vintage teak chair had an embroidered rattan base, reminiscent of the old school chairs in the living room of the Simbah's house, but I was worried that it would break over time. Finally, we asked a custom teak furniture craftsman in Jepara to replace it with foam and green suede fabric so that the tone of the room would be fresher.
