Our 120+ year old Victorian home is beautiful, but it presents a few challenges for modern living. The laundry room is in the basement, and there isn’t a great spot to relocate it. Until we have the budget to figure that out, I decided to transform the laundry area into something less scary. Luckily, it had many beautiful features already, like the bead board paneling, and the cool, old sink with a soapstone backsplash. I leaned into those features as I designed and use some awesome vintage pieces – like the prison laundry cart, glass jars, and ladder for hanging clothes.
