As an adopter of an eclectic style, my way of arranging a living room is by clashing various elements and colors but can be harmonious in one unified space. For example, choosing a sofa material in shades of blue and hitting it with a classic red carpet. Even though it's crashed, it's still quite in line with the teal green wall panel color mixed with the pink walls. Then the use of classic tiles as a table cover and contrasted with a TV cabinet and several other pieces of real wood colored furniture also to some extent dampens the colors which might be a little too bright.
