White and wood are important elements in my home. Actually, I chose the wrong wall paint color. I wanted a cool cream but it was too yellow 😭 the reason I chose white, especially for "large" furniture that has a long lifespan, i.e. can't be replaced quickly, is to act as a neutralizer. When you live in a house, you definitely get bored with home decoration, right? Sometimes I want to change the color of the wall paint, sometimes I suddenly like minimalist wall art that is all black and white, sometimes I want a Scandi style with lots of grey, sometimes I really like pastel colors to make it Korean style. So that's why I need neutral colors, especially for large pieces of furniture that can't be replaced in a short time. If it's a natural wood color, that's because I really like the texture of wood and the color, which I think makes the room warm. Now for other small and decorative pieces of furniture that I can keep and display according to the mood and theme of my house in the masses, I buy it depending on my mood and "what I can get" hahaha.
