The color palette for this house was originally just going to be brown and white. But after looking at it, it seemed good if we added red checks, and coincidentally in the corner there was a picnic basket with a red checkered motif. Finally I had the idea to cover the mini warehouse (the refrigerator box under the stairs) using a checkered red picnic cloth too.
