For the kitchen area, we want the kitchen to have a 'clean' impression, so we only add enough decoration that is functional but still in harmony with the concept of the house😆 The kitchen area backsplash was also replaced with 10x30cm glossy white ceramic, so it is easier to clean if it gets stained from cooking/laundry plate. Plus we also added custom kitchen cabinets, so that there is more kitchen storage space.
