To be honest, we don't have a living room 😆. Again, for reasons of limited land, urban concepts, and/or just because of our own personalities. We try to make the terrace of the house as comfortable as possible for receiving guests. Today there are only 2 types of guests, those who are not close enough to let us meet on the terrace, or those who are close enough to be worthy of entering the house. Even that doesn't need to be in the living room. We can chat at the dinner table, or even hahahihi at the kitchen bar table. Let's be more friendly. So we function the room in this photo more as a family room. The chat room is connected to the dining room, and you can even peek into the kitchen. In our house, everyone can see everyone. That's how we build interaction and space. But don't worry, we're not that selfish. The display wall shelf faces the main door of the house. We want incoming guests to feel welcomed. Warm and homely welcome. Our family room is small. But we make it as warm as possible. Lighting, calm color mood, and interior selection. Wood elements, stone, clean natural colors. We also chose a sofa without legs, we didn't want the room to feel like it had a partition. This room should be like a multi-purpose room, for watching TV, chatting casually, we can easily move the sofa for children to play, etc. And let this room grow like our family. Finally, forgive us for being slow, the residents of Griya Nagari 😅 #livingroomstyling #livingroomdecor #livingroommakeover
