Apart from changing to an open plan, then the empty area at the back was divided into a laundry room & kitchen, the tones in this house which were previously monochrome slowly changed to earthtones in almost all areas. I feel more suited to the Japanese concept of decorating a room The changes were not instant, it took a 3 year process to change the room to what it is today... check the last slide for before-after photos. Starting from installing vinyl, changing the dining table, and finally installing wall panels, and finally it has the tone that I want... For me, an ideal residence must make the occupants feel at home, comfortable and enthusiastic about doing activities...
