Previously I didn't apply a specific style/tone in this house... only monochrome in the kitchen & dining area, but since studying the home decor account, all the rooms have slowly changed... inspired by the dominant Japanese style with white & wood tones. Even though it is a bit difficult to apply this concept in a house that is not fully renovated, I am increasingly comfortable with the current atmosphere... cozy & homey To achieve this Japanese style, the first thing I did was install vinyl flooring (another reason for using vinyl to cover striped and stained granite floors)..
