What's Under the Stairs For a house with limited land, you really need to be smart in using the land, it's like don't let any land be wasted like that. That's why I use the bottom of the stairs as a storage area for monthly needs because the kitchen is open so there's minimal storage What I use is simple, just a custom closed cabinet made from HPL plywood & topped with a wall which is also used as a place to display decorations such as wall decor & live plants to make it fresher.
