The room atmosphere that we want to create in this child's room is comfortable, clean, neat and multifunctional. Deciding to use a Tatami Bed in this small child's room, in our opinion, is very appropriate. Apart from being a timeless cot model (which can continue to be used until the child is an adult), the Tatami bed also provides a solution to the problem of neatness in the storage area. Because under the couch there is a large drawer, you can place a bedcover, spare pillow, mini suitcase, etc., so the room can still look neat even though it stores a lot of things. Apart from that, the Tatami bed also has another function, namely as a children's play area when the mattress is lifted. Our journey to design a child's room started by installing batten walls from GRC wood planks so that the walls had wood-like grain, then we made a design agreement with the vendor. Starting from the sizes of each part of the cupboard, choosing the color, position of the study table, choosing the handle that the child likes, etc. After everything was fixed, we placed an order for 1 month. Our vendor is my younger brother who is an engineer but is interested in designing and making build-in furniture during his time off. So, we are very open for design consultations, etc. Finally, the vendor also suggested that the electrical socket from the wall be moved under the study table, to make charging activities easier, turning on the lights, etc. #bedroomstyling #bedroomdecor #MakeOverKamarTidur #tatamibed #kidsroom #japandibed
