As a housewife who spends most of her time in the kitchen, I am very concerned about decorating this most important area. When we first lived in this house, my kitchen design was more of a combination of minimalist and industrial, dominated by the use of black furniture and backsplash. It turns out that using a black backsplash in the cooking area actually makes the kitchen look dirty because if it gets fingerprints, oil splashes or dust, it's immediately visible. In the old kitchen I also used a lot of floating shelves for spice racks. Moreover, if you rarely clean floating shelves, they become very troublesome dust nests. Finally, above the stove I prefer a plain wall without cabinet shelves or floating shelves. However, to beautify the plain walls, I used PVC wall panels. Meanwhile, the spice rack is stored in the lower kitchen set. To make it easier to reach and still look neat. Starting from changing a few parts in the cooking area then expanding to the kitchen area as a whole so that everything looks the same. Here I covered my old kitchen set with foam linen wallpaper and PVC ceiling to make it look like new. Then, replace the floating shelves with upper cabinets. Then in the wall area I use a lot of decorations ranging from synthetic grass, PVC wall panels, foam wallpaper, MDF, etc. So, my current kitchen theme is more like a modern cafe with a little Japandi touch. The reason is simple, because when I enter the kitchen, I want it to be like hanging out in a cafe! 😚 #MyDreamKitchen #IdeDekorDapur #DapurEstetik
