We have actually moved our main living room to the Kitchen area. And these are photos of the original residential living room which is not too big in size. In this family room I chose a Japandi theme with dark teal and wallnut wood colors. The reason for using dark colors is because this is the part where my children like to be most creative in painting walls. Because the batten wall color was dark, to get a matching Japanese impression, I used PVC wall panels, tatami sofa, carpet, toy box and also a TV table in dark wood colors too. So that it's not too dark, the TV backdrop area uses glass accents combined with clean white paint.
