When we lived in this house, the children had already become teenagers, so we were more free to arrange the house without fear of this or that, but there were still several considerations to ensure that this house remained "child friendly" because we still had visitors from small children from our relatives. The ways we have chosen to ensure that this house remains comfortable for children: 1. Minimize equipment that is easily broken or damaged if knocked over (most of our tables are made of wood) 2. Place small prints of home decorations in a glass cupboard and place them in the family room, not the living room 3.
