Child Friendly Home We designed our house with an open plan or open space so that it is easy for children to do activities, when we parents are cooking in the kitchen, the children are free to play in the family room, and we can easily supervise them. Even though the children have their own playroom and bedroom, we don't mind if they play in this open space area. This open space area also has excellent lighting and air circulation, plus additional oxygen supply from green plants.
