Actually, my house is no longer inhabited by children, because my parents' children have all reached adulthood. However, I have this tiny nephew🤏 who likes to play in his aunt's room ((you could say it's a child's room too, the child is too big)). For safety because small children like to climb on random furniture and move actively here and there, I use a sturdy custom bedside table so I don't have to worry if my nephew climbs on it. Apart from that, my mattress also uses soft mattress textiles ranging from pillows and blankets.
