The main room in my house is divided into three parts; seating, pantry and dining area. The middle part was made empty so that the traffic lanes for residents would be more spacious. Occasionally a coffee table is placed to make chatting and drinking coffee more comfortable. Even though there is a special work space and work desk, I often place my laptop at the dining table.
