The color palette that I chose for the hallway area is darker colors than the kitchen and bedroom areas. I used dark teal for the paint on the batten walls, cream is the color mostly used for the entire room and also the facade, broken white, clean white and dark wood for the furniture. The reason I chose these rather dark colors is because this is the room where my children can be creative. They often color, play play doh, write etc. in this room. With dark colors the walls and furniture don't look too dirty even though my child sometimes scribbles on them. To still give a Japandi feel to this room, I used a tatami sofa, carpet and TV table in dark wood tones.
