We were matched with this house in 2023 and we are determined to move in early 2024 after previously going through a renovation process for 4 months. A little story about the journey of this house from the beginning until finally we became the owners. In 2022, this house was sold by a distant relative and finally bought by our younger brother, who at that time was still single (not married). It had been renovated for several months because it intended to be rented out, but after he finally got married and Qadarullah our parents (male) died, we finally decided to stay at our parents' house because our mother was still there. After careful consideration because he was worried that this house would not be maintained, he finally sold it to us because the location of this house happened to be in the same city as our old residence (Depok) while our younger brother lives and works in Palembang, which is also my husband and I's hometown. And finally, in early 2024, we occupied this house by making a few changes and remodeling several corners to make it more comfortable for us to live in.
