As the youngest in a family with many children, I had never dreamed of having a room of my own in a 30-pyeong apartment. My older brother became independent and my older sister got married, so I was left alone at home with my parents and moved from Seoul to Yangpyeong with them. A year had passed since I had been looking for a house with a large yard where I could tend to a vegetable garden, but I couldn’t find a house that I liked. Maybe it was because I was exhausted both physically and mentally. As soon as I set foot in an apartment that I had never even looked at before, my parents signed the contract. The apartment was right in front of the station, so everything was great. In particular, I was very excited to have my own room where I could sleep, do hobbies, and use it as a PC room. I entered Today’s House and filled my shopping cart with things that I would have only dreamed of before.
