I wanted to create an interior that was warm and had a little bit of a vintage feel. I had been buying mostly bright and pretty bedding without patterns, and I added a checkered pillowcase in a dark navy color that gave off a vintage feel to balance out the bedding that was too bright. The pillowcase is sensitive to the skin that touches it when I sleep, so I think it feels good. I bought a 25cm wave light from IKEA. I measured the size and bought it, but the bulb is brighter than I thought, and the overall size is bigger than I thought, so I regret not buying a 17cm one. However, I use it usefully when I sketch or read a book under the blanket before going to bed. The 25cm size really looks like a streetlight the more I look at it.
