When we moved into a three-room duplex officetel (what a unique case!), the living room and kitchen became separate for the first time, but my roommate and I didn't want to have different room sizes. So the large room became a closet, and the relatively small room became a bedroom. As a result, there's literally nothing in the bedroom other than furniture for sleeping, but I'm satisfied. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, a cat tower, a human side table, a storage side table, and even a cat litter box. I didn't bring in any very tall furniture, but I think it creates a more comfortable atmosphere.
