We have 2 areas for eating together, one at the kitchen island table, which we usually use for breakfast on weekends. Then the dining table area where we always have dinner together.
I style my kitchen only with cooking utensils, everything that is visible on the kitchen shelf, or on the kitchen table is equipment that is used daily. For me, it is decorative enough to display all my daily cooking utensils, so I don't need to display something that is rarely used. I deliberately collect cooking or baking utensils that are already very decorative, so besides being beautiful to display, everything is also functional.

The natural color Ikea JokkMokk was our choice for the dining table because the size is suitable for the dining area adjacent to the kitchen set, apart from that, the look is very Japanese in line with the theme of the house, the assembly was very easy, even our 4 year old son helped with the assembly. We beautify the ikea seat by adding a cursor cushion from ikea which is also cream colored so that it adds comfort when sitting and beautifies the appearance of the dining chair too.

This dining room is integrated with our living room. The layout of the dining table that I didn't think of at first actually gives a sweet impression as a room divider. Initially, this dining table should have been in front of the kitchen island. But why did it become narrow for movement. It turned out that being made like this actually seemed to be a camouflage divider between the dining room and the family room.
