Color palette at GH Gouse 🤍🤎🩶🖤💚 Before I had a house, I liked to follow house accounts for inspiration. Thank God, when I got a house, I created a home account and gained more knowledge about home decor. One of them is choosing the contents of the house and painting the house according to the color palette. So that the house has a concept, character and makes it easier to fill the house 😊 GH House itself has an open space concept by choosing a minimalist theme combined with Scandinavian. So white, cream, brown, grey, black are choices. Neutral and natural colors, wood textures and touches of green from plants are its characteristics. For some rooms, we also use a Japandi theme by combining white, wood and using space saving furniture, for example in the bedroom area By determining the concept and theme of the house at the beginning, it makes it easier for us to fill the house and also decorate it. Dream Kitchen The size of this kitchen is only 180cm. To maximize limited space, we decided to use a custom kitchen set. The table top in the cooking area uses compressed marble. Meanwhile, the kitchen island uses a solid surface. We differentiated the two table tops to reduce the budget also because we felt the needs in the cooking area and dining area were different. Usually this house has lots of sunlight from 10 o'clock onwards because our house faces south so it's a bit difficult to get sunlight. Coincidentally the neighboring houses are also taller. ➖ Bathroom Makeover The bathroom is rarely shown because it's not really worth showing 😂 This super tiny bathroom measures 1.65 x 1.25m It's still built by the developer, and there's only 1 bathroom in this house, so we can only use #DIYlowbudget #MakeoverLowbudget so that it looks prettier, more aesthetic but still functional. The walls have been made over 3 times since we first moved in, first using marble motif wall stickers, then changing to brick motif wall stickers, and now using 3 types of 'ceramic' in different colors and DIY motifs. The first is the original ceramic, painted with black ceramic paint. The top wall is covered with vinyl from the rest of the floor, and the walls on the left and right use a checkered granite pattern foam wallpaper sticker. Thank God, I have had this bathroom decoration for a year and it is still lasting now. Hopefully later there will be good fortune. I really want to renovate this small bathroom to make it more comfortable and functional. When we first bought this house for investment purposes, we had no intention of using it as a place to live, so we chose the smallest & cheapest unit at that time with a land area of 60m2 consisting of only one room, one living room and one bathroom without a kitchen. As time went by I thought about renovating the house so that this immovable investment was not in vain, the condition of the house being unoccupied of course over time it would be destroyed because there was no one to look after it. To encourage us to care for this house, we carried out renovations so that when we visited this house it felt comfortable & definitely inspired to take care of it. Long story short, after the renovation, we ended up coming to this house more often, especially after I became a creator, there were lots of activities I had to do in this house. Currently we still don't live permanently because of school constraints for our children who are still in elementary school, so we are still going back and forth to our in-laws' house which is close to our children's school. Hello from the developer's default Facade that rarely appears 😁 There is no specific style for the facade, only the paint color which we changed to monochrome when we first moved in. To be honest, we haven't had time to renovate the facade area because we don't think it's that important, at most we just need to repaint it because maintaining white walls is quite difficult. We fill the garden area with green plants such as cactus, monstera, as well as vines such as pothos to make it look fresher. Because I live in a small cluster and close together, I don't use a fence anymore. Tips for facades, the important thing is to always tidy up the entrance and garden area so that it always looks clean and fresh. You can really make your old house more aesthetic and homely using my tips for the terrace area: 1. The previous yard floor was the same as the garage floor with the bicycles, so that the yard looks aesthetic, I added synthetic grass and unvarnished wooden decking because the price is cheaper, then I varnished it myself at home 2. I made over the terrace floor by attaching vinyl with a cement plaster motif 3. Teak wood patio chairs are also my choice to add an aesthetic impression 4. I replaced the terrace lights with original bamboo shade hanging lamps 5.
