This small kitchen is only 2.5m in size. We deliberately chose a ready-made Ikea kitchen set because apart from saving budget, the simple design matches the theme of our house.
In slide - 1, we chose a multi-functional teak wood shelf decoration because apart from being able to be used as decoration, it can also be used as a place for spices

“A white kitchen, and a warm dining room for sharing stories.”
Having limited space is not an obstacle to having a comfortable kitchen and dining room. We chose a white kitchen—a simple, space-saving design that makes the room feel more spacious and bright. White also makes the kitchen look neater and cleaner, which is perfect for small spaces.
We separated the dining room from the kitchen so that cooking and eating activities can go hand in hand without disturbing each other. So, when one is cooking, the other can still sit back, chat, or enjoy the food.
Interestingly, after the all-white kitchen, we present a dining room with bright colors. The goal is to make the mood for eating warmer and more enjoyable. This is where we share stories, laugh with family, and unwind after a long day. The atmosphere is cozy, familial, and full of positive energy.
Tips for a tidy kitchen even though it’s small:
Use vertical storage & open shelves.
Minimize items—only store the essentials.
Make it a habit to do a little cleaning every time you finish cooking.
Sometimes limited space actually makes us more creative and aware: comfort is not about the size of the space, but how we fill it with functionality and warmth.

Mini prayer room at Bilall's house
This time I want to discuss the mini prayer room at my house.
This prayer room is located in the back area and is attached to the kitchen (precisely in the left corner on the hook ground)
A prayer room measuring +- 1.5m x 1.5m is only enough for 1 person.
I used a room divider with rattan accents and wooden shades to provide privacy when praying and to reduce the heat a little because the area to the left of the prayer room is the laundry room.
For all the items in this prayer room, I bought them at the market place.

Nothing has changed about our current facade, apart from the developer regulations not being able to change the facade, we don't feel it is urgent to carry out renovations. However, we try to maintain our facade so that it still looks neat and clean, and also added a fish pond which was my husband's wish.

Initially we bought this house, type 45/120, then after we had the funds we built an empty land area at the back.
We allocated the back area for the kitchen, dining room and living room without partitions to make it look spacious. We also added 1 bathroom, a laundry room with a sliding door so that the room always looks neat even though there are lots of clotheslines😝, and a void area for a vertical garden so the house has more openings, is bright and has air circulation.
Thank God, the building area of 98m is enough for us and 4 cats❤️

Stories about our house.
This is our second home. Previously we had a house with an area of 88m2. But we felt that it didn't match the design, layout and facade, which we actually made from scratch. Learning from these mistakes, we wanted to make a house that was suitable and happy with what we wanted. Itung itung is being 'inspected' by our family who are also contractors. We don't have a basic architect at all. Capitalize on inspiration from social media, the web and other home inspiration applications. We wrote down all our ideas on scribbled paper, which our uncle then helped us organize into drawings on the computer. Along the way, not everything we expected was appropriate. There are always obstacles that complement our experience in building houses. For example, the width of the house is too narrow for the facade model we want, so the strict triangular shape is reduced so that it can still be realized.
That's more or less our journey home :)

Our colorful kitchen. Concrete kitchen tables are our choice in terms of budget and easy maintenance. Apart from that, we renovated our kitchen table into an L shape from what the developer previously had so that we could move more freely in the kitchen.
