The house theme is minimalist, but for the kitchen, the industrial theme is thick with exposed cement walls and a cast bar table.
Our kitchen is at the front of the house. The door that is visible is the main entrance to the house.

Our way to keep the kitchen looking neat is by putting things in their respective homes.
In our house there is no kitchen set, so we provide open shelves with various storage to store cooking utensils. This kitchen is also given very little decoration to decorate it, so that its masculine impression is maintained.
We did low budget decoration by providing curtains under the kitchen to cover the cooking utensils.
And we also provide a shelf in the kitchen to put spices that are often used for cooking, as a sweetener, we also put a wooden cutting board on the shelf.

In our opinion, adding wooden elements amidst the all-black kitchen decoration makes our kitchen warmer & less monotonous.
For decoration, rather than adding displays that are not too essential, we prefer to choose kitchen equipment with colors and models that can also be a decorative accent in our kitchen.

Easy-difficult kitchen renovation, but worth it ☺️
How could it not be, because we had to defend building an additional structure in the backyard area of the house which was previously empty land, to realize this dream kitchen ✨
Then because BM wanted a brightly lit kitchen, a large glass folding door was added which also connects the kitchen and the backyard area. To make the character even stronger, a bench was also built right next to the folding door so that you can have coffee in the afternoon accompanied by the gentle breeze that enters the kitchen 🍃

Our kitchen has a modern industrial feel,
It's quite simple with open storage shelves... some of the equipment is deliberately exposed, combined with rattan boxes for storage and some more metal storage. To give a modern impression to the counter top and back splash, we chose granite with a slightly rustic motif. The choice of stove also uses a cooktop to make it look more clean and modern.
For the area under the kitchen, we chose to use a custom door made from perforated plate material (slide 3) which was painted black.
Apart from being low budget, this door is suitable for areas of our house that are crawling and is also good for air circulation under the hood which tends to be damp.
Note: when this post was published our kitchen was in the process of a small renovation, the theme was still industrial with a few additions...waiting for the update post 🥰

Aesthetic Room ✨
