Because we want to have a compact room, we don't want to have many separate areas, with the open space concept we unite the kitchen, dining room and living room areas.
For the kitchen and dining room areas, this island table becomes a cooking area and we also make it a dining area. With a table that is large enough, it can accommodate up to 8 people to eat together at this table.

We live in a housing complex that carries a modern tropical theme, there are no changes in the form of the facade, it is still the same as the original house.
Only a little addition of a fence made of roaster material on the left side because it was a side yard that was previously not fenced at all.
And we replaced the terrace floor with cast terrazzo, as a replacement for the ceramics provided by the developer because we like the terrazzo motif and want a part of this house that uses terrazzo.
To strengthen the vibes of our tropical house, we plant a lot of plants.

Flexible Content Spot✨
Apart from being a spot where I put plants, I sometimes use this area as a place for my content. This angle is the place most exposed to golden hours light, so it can produce clear video shoots. "Using" a table made of potted plants and a terrazzo table top from my nightstand that can be removed, I created a background for my own content.
When I've finished writing, I'll put the table top back on the nightstand, and I'll put my plants back in the pots. So you can adjust it according to your needs✨

The area of this master bathroom is 3.5x1.5 m. We chose matching colors on the walls, tiles, and sink top table. The colors chosen are predominantly white and gray to give a clean and minimalist impression.
We used terrazzo on the sink table and wooden hpl on the cabinet under the sink and door so that it is not monotonous and the ambiance is warmer.

We agreed on an open plan concept for the kitchen and family room areas, the goal is to make the room look more spacious and stay connected with the children when we are in the kitchen area.
Because our kitchen is located under the stairs, there is not much space to add storage space. We designed the cabinets in the kitchen set to store various eating utensils, cooking utensils, and spices.
We also combined the island table with the stove table and made a pocket door system so that it can be closed when we need a wider table.

Custom bedside table design from terrazzo so it feels like sleeping in a cafe ☕️
To be honest, I'm a lover of terrazzo materials, especially pastel & pink colors✨ But it's a shame that there aren't many variations in the processing of this material in Indonesia. I tried looking for a bedside table model with this model but it was very difficult and almost didn't exist. Finally, I decided to design my own custom bedside table by looking for various vendors that suited my taste & budget.
For the terrazzo table top, I custom made it from IG: @onyxhomeliving_terrazzo who has experience exporting terrazzo. Apart from that, there are lots of cute variations of terrazzo. To make it look more natural, the body of the nightstand/bedside table uses wood that I customized from @asheshomeid because the price is very affordable and the design results met my expectations.
Meanwhile, to give a "luxury" impression, I added gold accents to the nightstand, such as on the drawer pulls and furniture legs that I bought separately on Shopee.
For the nightstand design itself, I deliberately made a terrazzo table top that was not permanently attached to the bedside table. So the table top can be multifunctional as a product photo base too. For the drawer accent, I made a line ornament to harmonize with the existing furniture & room interior concept.
I also made the middle of the drawer body open. There are 2 advantages; namely to be more economical because you don't use a lot of wood, and so that the nightstand remains okay when placed in the middle of the room.
