First, I want to discuss the facade of this RFL house.
So RFL House has a Scandinavian / Nordic house concept combined with a little tropical style. The shape of the RFL House facade has the concept of 2 triangles stacked on top of each other, both of which have contrasting colors.

Tropical Minimalist Living Room in Neutral Look..
Designing a narrow but comfortable living room is a challenge in itself, especially if the budget is limited. I chose a tropical design because I like plants, it can also give a cozy, casual and fresh impression. I combine natural colors from plants with wood and neutral furniture.
The combination of tropical and minimalist really suits my simple personality, and doesn't have too many decorative ornaments. Flower paintings remind me of nature and peace, look gorgeous right ^^

✨The Facade✨
All the plants are still 6 months old here. So it's still short. 😁
The width of this facade is 12m, I'm really happy with the design which makes the house look wide. But unfortunately, when the time was right to build a basement or mezzanine, it would look higher.

Bush House Theme
From the moment we renovated this house, we wanted a house that was bright with lots of window openings, could accommodate my hobby as a plant lover, and a simple but unique facade.
then the Shrub House with a Tropical Industrial and modern theme was created. Three themes were chosen at once because we like simplicity in the industrial theme, relief in the tropical theme and neatness in the modern theme.
The industrial theme is clearly visible in the fence with perforated material, the fence wall and part of the back garden with exposed cement finishing. The tropical theme can be seen in the many plants, large windows, high ceilings, fish pond and wooden decking. The modern theme can be seen from the minimalist box-shaped facade with a dominant white and gray color.

Hi...A little story about the table in this living room. The original table top was white. So, because the children often draw on this table, the table is full of children's creativity, lots of marker stains that are difficult to clean. So that this table can still be used and is beautiful again, I made over the table using PVC film with Sonoma Oak motif from Kertasiv. After the makeover, the table is beautiful and clean again.

Industrial Modern Tropical House
Shatucerita is a combination of several things in my and my husband's heads, in which there is exposed cement on most of the walls, a touch of white paint, and don't forget the green plants inside and outside the house. The addition of dark and light colored wooden furniture is our main theme in decorating the contents of the house.
The core area of this house is the living room which is used as a place to gather, eat or just have fun at the end of the day.

Our need is a comfortable sitting room, a place to rest and a place for guests who come. We put a soft sofa and a comfortable bean bag in front of the TV with a coffee table to put snacks and drinks.

Initially, this retro/vintage teak chair had an embroidered rattan base, reminiscent of the old school chairs in the living room of the Simbah's house, but I was worried that it would break over time.
Finally, we asked a custom teak furniture craftsman in Jepara to replace it with foam and green suede fabric so that the tone of the room would be fresher.

We made this living room ourselves without the help of an interior designer/architect. We were inspired by Pinterest and Instagram and then applied it in this living room according to the style we like. Because we like rooms that are simple, beautiful and neutral, we used wall batten on the walls with a neutral white paint color. We changed the roof to a drop ceiling with additional indirect lighting and natural bamboo hanging decorative lights. To make this room fresher, we added live plants.

Our very first tosca • neutral tones home💡
The entire house has neutral shades, with white, cream, beige and wood dominant. I only use other colors such as pastel, turquoise, or maybe bold colors in some of the textiles that I use, such as cushions, pillowcases and bed sets.
Neutral shades are close to nature, being in them provides comfort and tranquility.
