This is the kitchen of a 30-year-old apartment building. I wanted the long, narrow kitchen to look bright and spacious. I put a lot of thought into the kitchen layout while designing it myself. It had to be able to store a dishwasher and small appliances, have a kitchen counter, and not have a large refrigerator or tall cabinet at the kitchen entrance.

My in-line kitchen is attached to the wall at the back of the house. Why ? because I want to maximize the middle side of the house to be used as a dining room. and for lighting in my kitchen, this is very sufficient, in the morning and afternoon I don't need to provide lighting from lamps, because sunlight will come in from the skylight that I made above the laundry room and this is enough to brighten up my kitchen area. For air circulation, because my house is attached to the right, front and back of the neighbor, so I made a metal door near the skylight so that air can come in and out from there. There aren't too many choices of furniture in the in-line kitchen either. To store electronic equipment and spices, I use an Ivar shelf made of wood. Apart from being minimalist, this shelf also adds a Japanese impression. The area of this kitchen is 6 x 2.5 meters, the height to the ceiling is 2.9 meters. In the second slide the cooker hood is actually made from multiplex material which is shaped like a chimney but actually it is 1.8mm multiplex material 😆 The door was deliberately made round to give a classic impression combined with the same color as the stove and cooker hood.
