<93 Cups, 93 Stories Project> Together with Today's House, I undertook a project to bring out my hidden tastes—which I rarely show—onto cups. As someone whose eyes are always drawn to things that are bright, flashy, or full of detail, I have always longed for heavy colors or objects that quietly reveal their presence without standing out. Objects and people with their own unique colors, unconventional tones, always look so cool and appealing. Yet, I wonder why it is so difficult to truly make them my own; the things I always hold in my hands are different from the aesthetics I pursue. So, this time, I decided to try something bold. Using a deep navy color, I carefully drew circles one by one, each possessing its own distinct personality and unconventional nature. I think the circles, with their imperfect shapes, are more beautiful not because they are clumsy, but because they are in their raw, unadulterated state. These different forms blend together to create a single rhythm known as a dot pattern. Finally, I engraved the name "dots" in small letters. Now that I've received the actual product, it looks exactly as I imagined, so I really love it. (One step closer to Chugumi) ♫•*¨*•.¸¸♪ From August 1st to August 16th, an exhibition featuring 93 cups, including mine, will be held. I heard that the TOP 3 cups selected through voting will be officially released.
