The inspiration for this bedroom redo came from the weightlifting man decoration on my chest of drawers. I bought it last week at Ross without a plan but knew it belonged in my bedroom. My Jensen record stereo cabinet took up too much space on the chest, so I relocated it, freeing up room for decor. A bit of rearranging, including a small round table, created a cozier and more functional space. Now, my bedroom doubles as an informal living room—perfect for eating, watching TV, and listening to vinyl. The main living room? That’s the formal one now. Lol.

Our 1890s shingle Victorian is in the midst of her glow-up! We’ve remodeled and designed homes before, but this one is our biggest project yet.
